An integral part of our work is to strive for a better environment, and we aim for a general environmental awareness in our daily operations.
We mainly offer locally produced, certified organic, or eco-labelled food on our breakfast menu. We minimize the use of chemicals in dishwashing and cleaning, and continuously strive to reduce our energy consumption. Our waste management practices are environmentally friendly, and we focus on reducing our transportation impact.
The furnishings in all 34 rooms are mostly recycled, primarily sourced from auctions and similar places, and then carefully renovated. We consistently choose suppliers with a clear environmental focus.
When we took over the old Q-marked warehouse in 2016, it unfortunately had deteriorated over many years and was in need of total renovation. Since then, we have meticulously transformed the warehouse into a hotel, now offering 34 uniquely decorated rooms in a nostalgic style.
We have a strong interest in building preservation and have taken the extra steps to restore the buildings to their former glory.
